Care Creatively

Care Creatively is an artist led project targeting the health and wellbeing of people living with dementia, by encouraging creativity between care sector staff and individuals at different stages of their dementia journey. We led a pilot project between March and June 2023

We have packs with resources and ideas for simple creative sessions for any staff and carers to lead themselves which you can download for free on our resources page

The project has been developed by Making Sense CIC in collaboration with artist Tara Dean.

Both Ticky and Tara worked as artists in care homes for Age Cymru’s cARTrefu project https://cartrefu.org.uk/

Care Creatively aims to provide continuous support for care staff and activity coordinators by providing resources,  encouragement, inspiration and artist led workshops to give them the skills and confidence to bring creativity into their  care everyday.
