1950s memory Collections

Making Sense has launched 5 new reminiscence collections inspired by the 1950s

They are available for short loans from Denbighshire Libraries all you need is a library card and you can arrange to pick the collections up from your closest library.

The collections have been carefully designed and developed through workshop sessions with care home residents and staff and include ideas to make the collections come alive.

Reminiscence Training

These reminiscence card packs have been designed and developed to help trigger memories and start conversations

They are free to any care-homes in Denbighshire but you can also buy the packs via the website for £25 all proceeds go towards the work of Making Sense Charitable Incorporated Company.

The packs contain 50 cards with images of our objects from the 1950s along with bilingual quotes ideas and rhymes to help start conversations.
